June always feels like the true beginning of summer on the South Shore. The days are longer, the ocean air is warmer, and there is a natural shift toward spending more time outside and enjoying everything our community has to offer. It is a season that invites us to slow down just a bit, reconnect with what we love, and appreciate the beauty right in front of us. Whether you are staying local, planning time with family, or simply soaking up the sunshine, June is full of opportunity to enjoy home and community in a meaningful way.

Summer Staycation Ideas at Home
Enjoy Summer Without Leaving Town
You do not have to travel far to make summer feel special. Some of the best moments happen right at home. Here are a few simple ways to create your own staycation this season:
☀️ Create an outdoor space you love
Set up a cozy seating area, add some string lights, and enjoy evening dinners or morning coffee outside.
☀️ Plan a backyard gathering
Invite friends or family over for a relaxed barbecue or casual get together. Simple moments often become the best memories.
☀️ Explore your local area like a visitor
Visit beaches, walk the harbor, try a new coffee shop, or revisit your favorite spots.
☀️ Unplug and unwind
Take time to step away from busy routines. Read a book, go for a walk, or just enjoy a quiet afternoon.
Summer does not have to be complicated to be meaningful. Sometimes the best experiences are the ones closest to home.

Personal Update
Looking Forward to Golf Season
One thing I always look forward to this time of year is getting back out on the golf course. There is nothing better than being outside, enjoying the fresh air, and spending time with friends while adding just the right amount of friendly competition.
Golf is one of my favorite ways to unwind and recharge. It brings together everything I enjoy, including staying active, socializing, and embracing a little competitive spirit. With the season just getting started, I am excited for many great days ahead on the course.
If you are a golfer too, I hope you are getting out there and enjoying it.
